Wacom’s Bamboo Craft CTH461, digital drawing pad system is by far the richest feature packed system on the market for home and small business users that want to enjoy the full spectrum of a Graphics Tablet. It is a pen and touch, digital drawing system that comes with an extensive bundle of software.
The CTH461 is called the Bamboo Craft, for several reasons.  Its pen has 1024 levels of sensitivity for precise drawings.  It’s wireless, battery free and has two additional switches.  The switches can be custom programmed for using the pen like a normal mouse.
Additionally, the pen is ergonomically designed for comfortable holding.  Wacom has created this pen to be as much like a regular writing instrument as possible.  In fact, just like using a pencil, you turn this pen on its head and it becomes an eraser. Many customer reviews are available, Read them here
The drawing pad surface is specially designed to give the feel of drawing on paper.  Again, Wacom has created this digital Input system to be as much like normal writing and drawing as possible.
The Wacom Bamboo CTH461 comes bundled with excellent full feature software programs: Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and Corel Painter Essentials 4.  Adobe Photoshop Elements is used primarily for touching up editing and working with photos.  Corel Painter Essentials is great for creating artwork and turning photos into paintings.  Additionally, Wacom has included Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 WE3—a software program that adds numerous filters to Adobe Photoshop to enhance photographic abilities. Together, all this software sold separately would cost the consumer over several hundred dollars.  In fact the cost of these software programs would be higher than the cost of the Bamboo Craft CTH461 digital drawing system.
To sweeten this deal even more, Wacom has also bundled in a DVD with 26 video lessons by Jane Conner-Ziser.  She is an expert in digital imaging.  The lessons are geared towards digital scrapbooking, but you are sure to pick up some fantastic tips watching her videos.

The touch functionality of the Wacom Digital drawing pads is versatile and customizable.  It is used pretty much like the touch pad on a laptop, but with a few extra bells and whistles.  You can use two finger commands to do things like zoom in and out. You can scroll, rotate your items, etc… with simple finger sliding. There are also express keys right on the tablet that you can use for left and right clicks, forward and back movements etc…
The system (for Windows and Mac) includes the Bamboo Craft tablet, the Bamboo Craft pen, a Quick Start guide, an installation CD (which includes driver software, interactive tutorial, and user’s manual), software DVD, and a DVD with 26 scrapbooking lessons from digital photography expert Jane Conner-Ziser.  This digital drawing pad comes with the technological experience and proven reputation of the Wacom line of digital graphics tablets. For the price, which is lower than the bundled software, I don’t think you can find a better deal on a digital drawing system.
